Mission
I like unusual, non-pop music, anything that is defined as post-classical, 20th century, modern, atonal, serial, chance, minimalist, digital, experimental, field recorded, sound art and electro-acoustic. These categories are parts of the elusive and undefinable genre of 'new music'. After having worked in a terrestrial station many years ago, I found internet radio and realized that it would be ideal for me in terms of fulfilling my continuous desire to reconnect with broadcasting and the immensely creative world of new music. I also live in a state that was receptive to new music and helped support it a few decades ago when the genre was becoming more prominent in the late 70’s and early 80’s and still continues to do so. Starting my station project: Radio Molecule to provide interesting music to a listening audience, proved that there are new intrigued and attentive listeners as well, grateful for the service. The station offers a wide range of music, scheduled shows, national and international new music news.
It is very exciting for me to discover that new music is actually alive and well. There are plenty of festivals in this country as well as in Europe that support the creative endeavors of amazing composers that are producing intelligent, interesting, playful, cultured contemporary non-commercial symphonic works as well as others that might include non traditional instruments and voice.
Reflective of culture and creativity in an environment of acceptance of diversity, ingredients that have characterized this country’s historical and philosophical position, internet radio might symbolize one of our last free-thinking refuges. Threatening its livelihood, by increasing copyright fees that will close many small stations as well as endanger less commercial genres, is almost intolerable. ...(Please, see Live365 News bellow).
Listening to Radio Molecule at Pandora.com is another alternative to expand on the audience that searches for new music. It is a free service as well. In a conceptual way, I co-create Radio Molecule with Pandora from its vast music pool, The Music Genome Project, which provides bios and music information. Simply by signing up to Pandora and searching for Radio Molecule or using the link above, you will be able to access an extensive variety of new music. Have fun!
dj: dna (Adriana Siso Behrens) In the last 12 months, deals have been cut between SoundExchange and Internet radio’s closest competitors – satellite and cable radio – that set their royalty rates at less than half of what webcasters pay. Being asked to pay an irrationally and unjustifiably higher royalty rate than its competition puts Net radio at a significant competitive disadvantage, but these deals Sdo seem to have established the “price of music” for non traditional radio providers, a price we are more than happy to pay. We need your help to remind Congress that though Internet radio is still on the air and artists are still being paid for their work by webcasters, nothing has been resolved and we need them to act. Call your Senators and your Representative and ask them to co-sponsor the Internet Radio Equality Act, H.R. 2060 and S. 1353. All the information you need is right here. On behalf of webcasters, artists and fellow Internet radio listeners everywhere, thank you. Now, let’s finish what we started a year ago.

The SaveNetRadio Coalition
It has been a year since you, and 2 million of your fellow SaveNetRadio supporters fought off a crippling royalty rate increase for webcasters and delayed the death of Internet radio. In spite of the public outcry to preserve the future of Internet radio and in spite of growing support in Congress – more than 150 co-sponsors of the Internet Radio Equality Act – the industry is still facing extinction. Congress has still not held a hearing on the IREA, they have still not forced SoundExchange to honor their pledge to negotiate in good faith with commercial webcasters, and time is running out.
